Looking for new traditions with your family, or need to get in the holiday spirit? Look no further than America’s Friendliest College Town where there is something for everyone. Here are the top holiday events you don’t want to miss in Stillwater!
Merry Main St.
Merry Main Street is the featured Holidays 2022 event based in the heart of the community in Downtown Stillwater. This local holiday gathering place runs every weekend through December 18. Sign up for a holiday class or activity inside the large geometric dome, take a carriage ride, get a picture with Santa, and explore a traditional and high-tech light display by ProValue.Net. This year, the activities will be located on the corner of Duncan Street and 8th Avenue, just south of the Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar. Free carriage rides will be provided on Saturdays as a part of the Merry Main Street activities. Downtown is an excellent location for family photos, a delicious meal, and picking up something special to decorate for the holidays or to put under the tree.
Holiday Parade of Lights
Enjoy the magic and wonder of the season at the Stillwater Holiday Parade of Lights on December 1st at 7:00 pm! Bundle up and bring the whole family to enjoy this annual holiday tradition. Get ready for the best "Christmas Vacation" ever - whether it is the movie, a favorite travel destination, or just a Christmas vacation to Grandma's, the theme is wide open!
Elf in Concert with the Tulsa Symphony & The Swingles at the McKnight Center
Celebrate the holidays with two festive shows at Stillwater's epicenter for the arts - The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts!
On December 1, experience your favorite Christmas film transformed with the music of a live symphony orchestra in Elf in Concert! For the first time ever, audiences can rediscover the magic of this holiday classic while the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra performs John Debney’s wonderful score and Santa Claus soars across the big screen in high-definition.
Then, on the 3rd, get into the holiday spirit with songs of good cheer brought to you by The Swingles! The Grammy® winners present a bouquet of music to keep out the cold, with folk- and jazz-inspired original songs served alongside traditional carols and festive favorites. The Swingles' crystalline vocals evoke icebound worlds, blankets of snow, and fireside singalongs. The unmistakable sound of The Swingles has long been associated with Christmas, and audiences can look forward to music from six decades of holiday releases including music from their recent holiday album, 'Yule Songs vol. II.'

The 2nd annual Ole Country Christmas will provide fun for the whole family! The event will take place on Saturday, December 3, with vendors and activities from 10 am - 5 pm, then live music around the campfires from 4 - 8 pm.
Savor hot chocolate, cider, sweet treats, and more as you stroll around the vendor booths and hang out by the campfires. Listen to classic Christmas tales during Storytime, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus from 10 am - 2 pm, and enjoy free Christmas crafts for kids of all ages.
Get hands-on with adorable goats in the petting zoo. Then, stick around after the sun goes down for s'mores and a free concert by local artists. There is so much fun to be had with your family and friends!
