Holiday Cheer Starts Here!
Visit Stillwater invites businesses to participate in our Holiday Window Decorating Contest. Show off your creativity and holiday spirit by transforming your storefront into a dazzling display for the community and visitors to enjoy.
• Location: The contest is open to businesses inside the Stillwater city limits.
• Eligibility: Business entries only.
We strongly recommend incorporating lighting into your display to attract individuals and
Families at night, as many people will stroll through the community to admire the festive
decorations.
Contest Guidelines
• Visibility: All decorations must be visible from the exterior of the building.
• Judging: Displays will be judged from outside the building.
• Family-Friendly: All entries must adhere to a family-friendly theme.
Judging Criteria
Each display will be evaluated on a 40-point scale:
• Originality (10 points): How creative and unique is your design concept?
• Workmanship (10 points): Quality and detail in craftsmanship, use of materials, and
colors.
• General Presentation (10 points): The overall beauty, cohesion, and creativity of the
display.
• Lights (10 points): How effectively and creatively are lights used in the design?
Categories to Enter
• Funniest Display: Whimsical and lighthearted designs.
• Most Creative Display: Innovative and imaginative decorations.
• Most Festive Display: Over-the-top holiday cheer!
Important Dates
• Judging Date: Friday, December 5 at Dusk
• Winners Announced: Tuesday, December 9
Prizes
The winner in each category will receive:
A $250 Window cleaning gift Card and cookies for the office.
