Experience the magic of Bob Childers’ Gypsy Café, Oklahoma's premier homegrown Red Dirt music and songwriter festival, returning to Stillwater on May 5, 2024. Five different venues will keep the music flowing for attendees with over 70 talented songwriters and performers. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Oklahoma's musical heritage, with heartfelt tunes and captivating tales about Bob Childers, the revered godfather of Red Dirt music, and the legendary Farm where the genre took root in Stillwater, OK.  

Check in to get your wristband and roam the venues including George's Stables, Eskimo Joe's, The Salty Bronc and Outlaws where an array of the top talent in Red Dirt music will be performing for you throughout the day. Performers will mix it up in small jam groups across the venues so you can enjoy a wide variety of sounds from members of the Red Dirt Rangers, Randy Crouch, Mike Hosty, John Fullbright and many, many more. 
 

Buy your ticket in advance for Bob's "Mexican Morning" Brunch where you'll be treated Mexican-themed cuisine catered by Good Little Eater along with a talent-packed performance by Red Dirt music pioneers like Monica Taylor, Red Dirt Rangers, Jared Taylor, Chuck Dunlap, Scott Evans, Randy Crouch, Brad James, Gene Williams and more. Their set will include songs written by Bob Childers, Jimmy LaFave and other Red Dirt legends. The theme is a salute to Bob Childers' song "Mexican Morning" with a nod to the date of the event coinciding with Cinco de Mayo.

Join us in supporting the Red Dirt Relief Fund, a nonprofit that has been a lifeline for countless artists throughout the pandemic. With over 800 music professionals statewide receiving aid, this organization continues to champion musicians and songwriters, ensuring their voices are heard as they strive to make the world a better place through their music.
