First opening its doors in 1992, the Wormy Dog quickly became a cornerstone of Stillwater’s music scene and a proving ground for Red Dirt artists. The dive bar helped launch the careers of legendary acts like Brandon Jenkins, Jason Boland, The Great Divide, Cross Canadian Ragweed, No Justice, and countless others who shaped the sound of Oklahoma music.

Throughout the ’90s and beyond, the Wormy Dog was more than a bar, it was a gathering place for musicians, fans, and storytellers, cementing its status as a staple of the Oklahoma and Red Dirt country music scene.

Now, the Wormy Dog returns to The Strip at 421 S. Washington, a location that once housed the Wormy Dog Concert Hall. With cold beer, rockin’ live music, and the same gritty spirit that made it iconic, the Wormy Dog Saloon is once again carrying on a Stillwater tradition of good times and great tunes.
