Stillwater Community Center
Overview
The Community Center is owned and managed by the City of Stillwater. It was built in the 1930s as the Stillwater Junior High and acquired by the city in 1991. Today, the Community Center offers 14 versatile, well-equipped rooms featuring the 710-seat Winfrey D. Houston Theater.
The Community Center is home to several arts organizations including Stillwater Community Band, Stillwater Jazz and Stillwater Community Singers, and hosts a varied schedule of performing arts, concerts, stage plays, recitals, and various forms of dance.
"The Stillwater Community Center is excited to be a participant in the Downtown Stillwater Cultural District, home to many of the city’s cultural assets. Our hope it to make the arts more prominent and unified in Stillwater, becoming a creative, cultural community."
