Overview


Gardenfest at the Botanic Garden at OSU invites visitors of all ages to enjoy a vibrant celebration of fall, nature and family fun on September 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy the outdoors in this festive atmosphere with plenty of fun activities for kids, tasty food, plenty of vendor booths to browse and more!

Stroll through the beautiful grounds of the Botanic Garden just west of Stillwater, where children can explore the interactive Treewalk Village, Mud Kitchen, and children’s garden. The event will also offer a bounce house for the little ones Families can enjoy hands-on experiences, educational activities, and live demonstrations from Payne County Master Gardeners, all while surrounded by colorful late-summer blooms. Bring your gardening questions and learn from the master gardeners who will be on hand with answers.


Explore arts and crafts vendors, grab a bite from food trucks, and meet therapy goats. Don't miss the mum and pumpkin sale that starts on September 27 and runs during the event until the supply is sold out. For an extra adventure, discover OSU’s unique Insect Adventure, Oklahoma's only insect petting zoo, from 10 a.m. to noon for just $3 per person.
