The Payne County Free Fair returns to the Payne County Expo Center from August 25-31, offering seven full days of family fun, community spirit, and classic fair experiences!

The fairgrounds will be filled with carnival rides, livestock exhibits, vintage tractors, food vendors, and more. Carnival hours run nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for $33. Guests can also purchase individual tickets starting at $4, the $35 Family Pack with 10 tickets, or the $100 Super Saver Pack with 30 tickets.
Children and families won’t want to miss June’s Barnyard, open from August 27–30, for an up-close look at farm animals in a fun, hands-on setting. The annual Pet Show and Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, and is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
From Wednesday to Friday, the Power of the Past Tractor Parade will roll through the fairgrounds each evening at 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, the Barnyard Olympics kicks off at 6:30 p.m. for children ages five and older, followed by Oklahoma’s only draft horse pulling competition at 8:00 p.m. in the outdoor arena.

The Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull returns Friday at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday features a Cattle Dog demonstration, also starting at 7:00 p.m.
Inside Heritage Hall, the Payne County Model Railroad Club will display its intricate model trains from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the exhibit buildings, showcasing floral arrangements, baked goods, handcrafted items, and more.
Local vendors, live music, and contests will be featured throughout the week, along with livestock shows highlighting the hard work of Payne County’s 4-H and FFA students.
