(STILLWATER, Okla.)--America’s favorite blonde, Elle Woods, is ready to prove who’s in charge (again) as Legally Blonde - The Musical comes to The McKnight Center for two performances November 10 and 11 at 7:30pm. The
ultimate Broadway tribute to girl power, Legally Blonde will take the audience from the UCLA sorority house to the Harvard halls of justice with the timely coming of age story of Broadway’s brightest heroine. Tickets are on sale now.

Based on the beloved movie, Legally Blonde follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, sexism, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams, and proves that you can be BOTH legally blonde AND the smartest person in the room.

“Broadway nights at The McKnight Center are always exciting, and Legally Blonde is no exception,” said Mark Blakeman, The McKnight Center’s Marilynn and Carl Thoma Executive Director. “It’s a funny, uplifting, and empowering
story that everyone loves. We’re thrilled to bring Broadway’s hits to Stillwater to entertain audiences.”

The November 11 performance of Legally Blonde is the third and final show in The McKnight Center’s inaugural Pep Rally event series, a free event held on the plaza lawn adjacent to the entrance. The November 11 Pep Rally begins at 5 pm and offers food truck concessions from Blue J's Rockin' Grill and Wicked Hangry. OSU Game Day Host Les Thomas will emcee the event. Beginning at 6:15 pm, Les will welcome special guests from the OSU Baseball team, the Cowboy Marching Band, Pistol Pete and BB the mini-horse.
