STILLWATER, Okla. ---- Oklahoma State men’s basketball announced its non-conference schedule for the 2022-23 season on Wednesday. The challenging slate features a pair of 2022 NCAA Tournament teams in Connecticut and Virginia Tech.

After playing host to Ouachita Baptist on Nov. 3 in its lone exhibition, OSU is set to officially open the season Nov. 7 against UT-Arlington in Gallagher-Iba Arena. In last season’s meeting against the Mavericks, also on opening night, Moussa Cisse led all scorers with 17 points and nine rebounds as the Cowboys defeated UT-Arlington, 88-45.

Oklahoma State’s two-game home stand to open the year will conclude Nov. 10 against Southern Illinois before it hits the road for the first time to face Oakland on Nov. 13.

The road swing continues as the Cowboys will head to The Bahamas for a pair of games, starting Nov. 18 against Central Florida, as part of the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship. OSU will close out that weekend on Nov. 20 against DePaul or Santa Clara.

Following its out-of-country trip, Oklahoma State will return home to play host to Tulsa on Nov. 25 and Prairie View A&M on Nov. 27. The Cowboys will then head to Storrs, Conn., as part of the Big 12/Big East Challenge, to face UConn on Dec. 1.

Sam Houston is scheduled to visit GIA on Dec. 6 before the Cowboys head to Brooklyn for a neutral-site contest against Virginia Tech on Dec. 11. OSU is then set to face Wichita State, in Wichita, on Dec. 17.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi in GIA on Dec. 20 and Ole Miss in Stillwater on Jan. 28, as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge, will round out of the non-conference portion of the Oklahoma State schedule.

Times, as well as television designations, and the Big 12 portion of the schedule will be made available when finalized.
