IRVING, Texas — Oklahoma State was selected to finish fourth in the 2021 Big 12 standings in a vote of the conference’s head coaches.

The Cowboys finished the 2020 season with a 13-5 record; with the season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no conference play in the Big 12 a year ago. In its seven previous seasons under head coach Josh Holliday, OSU won its first-ever Big 12 regular season championship in 2014 and finished second in the league race on four occasions.

Texas Tech topped the preseason poll for a fourth-consecutive year in 2021 and received seven first-place votes. Following the Red Raiders were TCU and Texas, who each drew a first-place vote and finished ahead of the Cowboys.

Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kansas State, Baylor and Kansas rounded out the poll.
