Browse vendor booths, sample your favorites from the food trucks and enjoy the patriotic celebration and then marvel at the spectacular fireworks extravaganza in Boomer Lake Park at the corner of Washington Street and Lakeview Road.

During the Boomer Blast event, Payne County Health Department will be located on the west side of Boomer Lake by the playground to provide a comfort station. Attendees are encouraged to utilize the park’s splash pad as a cooling station. Boat and vehicle access to Boomer Lake Park will be prohibited and Harned Avenue will be closed after 4 p.m. until around 11:30 p.m. Lakeview Bridge will be closed 7-11:30 p.m. No vehicles will be allowed in the park after 4 p.m.

Designated handicap parking will be in two areas – one at the corner of Lakeview and Washington and the other at Lakeview and Husband. The handicap reserved area will be staffed, a proper handicap placard is required, and spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. General parking is available in the Stillwater High School parking lots and along public streets. Due to construction, Cimarron Plaza is not available for parking and there is not a consistent sidewalk on Franklin and Washington. Event goers are encouraged to use the Kameoka Trail. The designated, legal and safe crosswalk areas are on the Lakeview Bridge and at the corner of Washington St. and Lakeview Rd. There will be additional roadway lighting to help motorists and walkers get to their destinations once the sun goes down.
