The 2018 NCAA Division I Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships will take place at Karsten Creek Golf Club this summer. And with the honor of hosting two prestigious back-to-back championships comes the need for hundreds of volunteers over a two-week period of time.

  •             Women’s Championship – May 17-23, 2018
  •             Men’s Championship – May 24-30, 2018

While Karsten Creek has served as the host site for the 2003 and 2011 Men’s Championships this will be the first time to host a Women’s National Championship in Stillwater.

Visit Stillwater has historically assisted OSU Athletics, American Junior Golf Association, and golf tournament directors by coordinating the hospitality volunteers needed throughout premier events hosted at Karsten Creek. For the upcoming NCAA Championships, Visit Stillwater will fill 210 hospitality related positions at the host hotels, man the doors at each entrance to the club house, and provide attendants at the driving range and practice green.

If you would like to volunteer your time to further enhance our reputation as “America’s Friendliest College Town” while ensuring the best possible experience for every team, coach, official, family member, fan, and member of the media – including a constant presence by The Golf Channel – please email Visit Stillwater President and CEO at Cristy@VisitStillwater.org. Cristy will forward you days and times available for both the Women’s and Men’s Championships.

There are also opportunities to volunteer in several other areas such as a walking scorer, ball spotter, hole or rope marshal, standard bearer, a cart driver, or within the timing station. All of the volunteer positions need to be filled by mid-March to turn in shirt sizes and make any last-minute tweaks that often occur with events of this magnitude. For additional information in regard to volunteering, go to www.karstencreek.com.

We would love to see OSU fans supporting our Women’s and Men’s golf programs over the full two weeks at Karsten Creek.  To purchase tickets for the NCAA Golf Championships, go to www.ncaa.com/tickets
