The Payne County Junior Livestock Show at The Payne County Expo Center is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect opportunity to support the hardworking young men and women showcasing their animals. These dedicated exhibitors have spent months preparing their livestock, and now it's time for the community to come on out and cheer them on!
The excitement kicks off on Saturday, February 22, with the Goat Show, including the Doe Fitting Contest. Sunday, February 23, will feature both Doe and Market Goat Shows, along with Showmanship Contests.
On Monday, February 24, the spotlight shifts to the Swine Show, beginning with the Gilt Show in the morning, followed by the Market Swine Show and Showmanship Contests.
Tuesday, February 25, is all about sheep, with the Breeding and Market Sheep Shows. The day also features the Cattle Fitting Contest in the afternoon.
Cattle and poultry take center stage on Wednesday, February 26, with Dairy Heifers, Beef Heifers, Market Steers, and Market Broilers competing throughout the day.
The event wraps up with the Premium Sale on Thursday, February 27, where the top animals will be showcased. This is a fantastic way to support these young exhibitors and their hard work!
