Looking for something entertaining to kickstart your month off? Extreme Dwarfanators Wrestling on the 1st of the month at Tumbleweed Dance Hall & Concert Arena promises all the high-energy entertainment!
March means Mardi Gras, and there's no better place to celebrate than Eskimo Joe’s! On March 4, enjoy a Fat Tuesday filled with homemade jambalaya, King Cake, drink specials, party favors, and exciting giveaways. Stick around for live music from Travis Fite, and try your luck with the fan-favorite, the Wheel of Beer!
Aviation enthusiasts won’t want to miss the 2025 Flying Aggies Fly-In on March 8 at Stillwater Regional Airport (SWO). Featuring aircraft from the last hundred years, airplane rides, vendors, food, and a family-friendly atmosphere. This event is free and open to everyone!
On March 17, Bliss Books and Bindery is celebrating the highly anticipated release of Sunrise on the Reaping, the latest novel from Suzanne Collins, the bestselling author of The Hunger Games. Get your copy at Bliss Books’s Midnight Release Party and be the first to dive into this thrilling new story!
OSU Athletics
OSU fans and sports lovers, get ready for a packed month! Cowboy Baseball will face off against teams like Winthrop, Illinois State, West Virginia, North Dakota State, and Wichita State at O’Brate Stadium. Meanwhile, Cowgirl Softball will take on Drake, Tulsa, Houston, and Baylor at Cowgirl Stadium.
Cowgirl and Cowboy Tennis will battle teams from UCF, Arizona State, and Texas Tech at the Greenwood Tennis Center, while Cowboy Basketball takes on Cincinnati in a can’t-miss matchup at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Rounding out the lineup, OSU Equestrian will compete against Fresno State and TCU in two thrilling meets at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center.

Get Active (or Watch the Action!)
Looking to stay active or test your endurance this month? Then Stillwater has plenty of exciting events coming up for you!
From March 13 to 16, cyclists from across the country and internationally will gather for The Mid South Endurance Festival, a premier gravel biking event in downtown Stillwater. But it’s not just for cyclists—runners can also take on the challenge with a half marathon or a 50K!
Can’t make The Mid South? No worries—there are still plenty of opportunities to hit the pavement! Kick off the month with the 5K Roar Run on March 1 at Boomer Lake Park, or take on the Stilly Half & 5K on March 8. Both events offer scenic courses and a welcoming atmosphere for runners of all levels.
Payne County Expo Center Happenings
The Payne County Expo Center is the place to be this March, hosting a variety of can’t-miss events! Sample delicious bites at Taste of Stillwater on the 4th, shop for handcrafted goods at the Spring into Summer Craft Show on the 8th, or on the 29th, check out adorable bunnies at the Tulsa Rabbit Show!
Theater & Live Performances
Stillwater’s performing arts scene is taking center stage this March with an exciting lineup of theater, music, and live performances!
Music fans can enjoy Rumors, presented by OSU Theatre on March 1 and 2, Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. by Stillwater Middle School on March 5 and 6 and Freaky Friday performed by Stillwater Junior High on March 28 and 29 On March 6, the OSU Symphony Orchestra will deliver a breathtaking Concert of Soloists, while OSU Opera presents Hansel and Gretel on March 14 and 15.
For live music lovers, Jacob Stelly & Palmer Anthony take the stage at the Tumbleweed Dance Hall & Concert Venue on March 8. Then, on March 29, choose between two incredible performances—Priscilla Block at The McKnight Center For The Performing Arts or Gannon Fremin & CCREV with American Slang at The Tumbleweed!
