(STILLWATER, OKLA. / Sept. 12, 2014) — Superheroes will unite at the City of Stillwater’s 24th Annual Halloween Festival scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 28. The festival will run from 5 to 8 p.m. in Downtown Stillwater between 7th and 10th Avenues.

The annual festival includes a food drive, traditional children’s games, inflatables, trick-or-treating and a costume contest.

“The Halloween Festival is a fun event that brings the entire community out to Downtown Stillwater,” Recreation Supervisor Rachel Janway said. “This year’s theme is ‘Super Heroes,’ and we are looking forward to ‘saving’ the City together.”

Attendees are asked to bring at least one can of food each for the food drive.

“We are asking residents to bring nonperishable food items for donation as their ‘admission,’” Janway added. “It’s a great way to help the community.”

Area businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring the Halloween Festival or hosting a nonsoliciting booth may contact Janway for details.
