(STILLWATER, Oklahoma, Dec. 3, 2021) — Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum will preside over her first commencement ceremonies Dec. 10 and 11 at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Allison Garrett, the new chancellor for the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, will be the guest speaker.
The fall 2021 ceremonies will be held indoors for the first time since December 2019. Because of the pandemic, 2020 ceremonies were delayed to spring of 2021 and were held outside in Boone Pickens Stadium. This will be the 143rd commencement in OSU’s history.
WHAT: OSU Fall Commencement Ceremonies
WHEN: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10
10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11
WHERE: Gallagher-Iba Arena. Doors on the east side of Gallagher-Iba Arena will open for guests one hour prior to the ceremony start time.
WHO: Allison Garrett took office Nov. 8 and is the first woman to hold the position of chancellor in the state.
PARKING: Parking is available on the northwest, south and west sides of Boone Pickens Stadium. On Friday and Saturday, accessible parking will be available in lot 6B, which is directly south of Gallagher-Iba Arena. See parking map for details.
