(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / Sept. 14, 2017) Award winning artist and professor, Chris Ramsay, will give a talk about the current exhibition Ripples in Stillwater, showcased at the Modella Gallery in Downtown Stillwater. The exhibition features work by artists who studied under Ramsay and graduated from the Jewelry and Metals Program at Oklahoma State University. These artists have achieved professional careers, producing work that has been exhibited nationally and received numerous prestigious awards.

The talk is set for Sun., Sept. 17, from 2-3pm at the Modella Gallery, 721 S. Main Street. In his talk, Ramsay will offer a guided tour of the show highlighting the exhibiting artists from the perspective of their former jewelry instructor. Their work contains themes such as nature, memory, and storytelling, and serves as a local voice in the contemporary art world. Ramsay’s work is also included in the Ripples in Stillwater exhibition, which will be on display until September 22nd.
