(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / July 8, 2019) – Help us pay tribute to a Cowboy great and support the next generation of Oklahoma State student-athletes at the Brooks Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Stillwater Country Club.
One of the most beloved players in program history, Thompson was a two-time All-Big Eight honoree who went on to success in the NBA and college coaching. Tragically, he passed away in 2016 at the age of 45 and was survived by his wife, Michelle, and their three daughters.
The Brooks Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament not only honors the legacy of an OSU great but also supports an endowed scholarship in Thompson's name. The four-person scramble will start at 9 a.m. at Stillwater Country Club, and will include prizes, lunch and an awards presentation.
