Oklahoma State University will host a campus march Jan. 16 to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The march will kick off at 2 p.m. in front of the Spears School of Business with a vocal performance by student Brittanie Cannon and remarks from Stillwater Mayor Will Joyce and others. The parade route will end at The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts where Tré Smith will deliver the student keynote address. 

 

Additionally, Stillwater Community United will host an MLK Day Unity March, which will begin at 1 p.m. at Southern Woods Park and make its way to the OSU campus where it will unite with the OSU march. This year marks the third consecutive year that the City of Stillwater and the university have collaborated on this event.
