Lexi Kilfoyl, Kyra Aycock and Kelly Maxwell combined for a four-hit, shutout performance in the 2-0 win over the Mean Green, extending the Cowgirls’ win streak to eight heading into the weekend.

 

OSU opened Big 12 play with a series sweep for a second-consecutive season as it outscored Baylor 16-6 in three games.

 

Friday night’s game was the first extra-inning contest of the season for the Cowgirls, one in which they prevailed 6-5 after 11 innings.

 

The Pokes followed that up with 5-0 and 5-1 wins over Baylor on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

 

After its eight-game homestand, OSU travels to Tulsa on Wednesday for a midweek contest with the Golden Hurricane at 5 p.m. on ESPN+ and The Varsity Network.

 

On their Big 12 bye week, the Pokes head to Incarnate Word for a doubleheader with the Cardinals on Saturday. Game one is set for an 11 a.m. CT first pitch. Fans can tune in on The Varsity Network.
