STILLWATER – Just one day after winning the first Big 12 championship in program history, the Oklahoma State softball team was announced as the No. 7 national seed in the 2022 NCAA Tournament. The Cowgirls host North Texas, Nebraska and Fordham in the Stillwater regional this weekend.

The action starts at 5 p.m. Friday when Nebraska takes on North Texas. Oklahoma State battles Fordham at 7:30 p.m.

Should OSU (41-12 overall) advance through the regional, then the Cowgirls would host the winner of the Clemson regional that includes No. 10 seed Clemson, Louisiana, Auburn and UNC Wilmington,  in a best-of-three super regional to be played at Cowgirl Stadium the following weekend with a spot at the Women’s College World Series on the line.
