Stillwater, Oklahoma — Kentucky native and fan favorite Ole 60 will take the stage Saturday at the 34th Annual Calf Fry, held at the Tumbleweed Outdoor Arena in Stillwater.
Ole 60 is not your typical country band. Blending indie rock sonics, folk-style songwriting, and country sensibilities, the six-piece group shot to national attention in 2024 with “Smoke & A Light,” which topped Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 chart. Their debut EP Three Twenty-Four also climbed to the top of the Apple Music Country Albums chart, surpassing genre giants like Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen.
Last September, the band struck again with their sophomore EP Songs bout You and the breakout hit “Thoughts of You,” which topped TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50 music chart.
Heavily influenced by artists ranging from The Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, and Radiohead to songwriters John Prine and Nicholas Jamerson, Ole 60 has amassed nearly 700 million global career streams. The band delivers powerful musicianship, moving seamlessly from psychedelic-tinged rock to stripped-down storytelling. As noted by Billboard, their sound combines detailed storytelling with dynamic instrumentation.
Now headlining shows nationwide, the Kentucky group recently released their debut album Smokestack Town along with the surprise follow-up single “Can’t Take It With You.”
Excitement for the Calf Fry Music Festival continues to build nationwide, with fans calling this year’s lineup one of the festival’s biggest yet. From start to finish each night, the event promises something for every country and Red Dirt music fan.
The 2026 festival will be headlined by Josh Meloy, Flatland Cavalry, and Charles Wesley Godwin.
