STILLWATER – Oklahoma State softball team checks in at No. 7 in both the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 heading into week 11.

Lexi Kilfoyl tallied 10 strikeouts in 8.0 innings of work in OSU’s 3-1 loss to No. 23/23 Wichita State Tuesday evening at Cowgirl Stadium. 

 

Each of Oklahoma State’s games against conference foe No. 7/8 Texas in Austin, Texas, were tightly contested: games one and two were each one-run ball games. Texas’ largest win of the weekend (5-2) came in game three in the latter half of Saturday’s doubleheader.

 

The Pokes look to get back to winning ways in their final conference road series of 2023 as they travel to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the Red Raiders in a three-game set from April 28-30.
