STILLWATER – Highlighted by 26 games against 2022 NCAA Tournament participants, the Oklahoma State softball team has made its 2023 schedule official.

 

The Cowgirls open the year internationally as they travel to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to compete in the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge from February 10-12, where they’ll face Oregon, North Carolina, Maryland and Ole Miss.

 

Oklahoma State travels straight from Mexico to Clearwater, Florida, to compete in the 2023 TaxAct Clearwater Invitational presented by EvoShield. OSU is slated to play Texas A&M, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Louisiana and Michigan from February 16-18.

 

OSU then packs its bags for Las Cruces, New Mexico, to compete in the Troy Cox Classic hosted by New Mexico State from February 24-26. The Cowgirls are scheduled to play New Mexico, Nebraska, Cal State Bakersfield and New Mexico State. Oklahoma State makes a stop in El Paso, Texas to play UTEP on February 26.

 

After three straight weeks on the road, the Cowgirls return to Stillwater to host the OSU/Tulsa Invitational from March 3-5. OSU is set to take on Maine, Missouri, South Dakota State and Tarleton State in its 2023 home opener.

 

The following weekend, the Cowgirls welcome Florida State to Stillwater for a three-game series as a part of the Cowgirl Invitational from March 10-12 before making a trip to Conway, Arkansas, to play Central Arkansas on March 15

 

The Pokes then host UCF and Arizona State in the OSU Mizuno Classic from March 17-19. Oklahoma State welcomes North Texas to Cowgirl Stadium on March 22.


The Cowgirls open conference play with a three-game series against Baylor at Cowgirl Stadium from March 24-26, followed by a trip to Tulsa for a midweek contest on March 29. A trip to San Antonio, Texas, to play in a doubleheader versus Incarnate Word awaits OSU on April 1.

 

Oklahoma State takes a trip though Kansas to play at Wichita State on April 5 before taking on the Jayhawks in a three-game Big 12 series from April 6-8. Back in Stillwater, the Pokes host UT Arlington on April 12 and Iowa State for a three-game set from April 14-16.

 

The Cowgirls play Wichita State in Stillwater on April 19 then hit the road to play three games at Texas from April 21-23.

 

OSU returns to Stillwater to take on Tulsa on April 26 and travels to face the Red Raiders of Texas Tech in a three-game series from April 28-30. The Cowgirls make a stop in Denton, Texas, on the way home to play at North Texas on May 3.
 

A Bedlam series clash with 2022 NCAA Women's College World Series champion Oklahoma from May 5-7 rounds out Oklahoma State's regular season.
