STILLWATER – Oklahoma State and Mississippi State have agreed to a home-and-home football series, with the Bulldogs visiting Stillwater on September 7, 2030, and the Cowboys traveling to Starkville on September 6, 2031.
OSU and Mississippi State have met five times, with the Cowboys holding a 3-2 series advantage. They last met in the 2013 AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in Houston, with OSU claiming a 21-3 win at Reliant Stadium.
Outside of the one neutral site contest, the home team has won every game in the series with the Cowboys winning in Stillwater in 1998 and 1971, and the Bulldogs winning in Starkville in 1999 and 1970.
OSU has played three games in the state of Mississippi, with a 2001 game at Southern Miss marking the only other trip besides the two at Mississippi State.
The series continues a run of home-and-home Power 4 opponents for Oklahoma State, which plays Arkansas (2027, 2032 and 2033), Michigan State (2028 and 2029) and Nebraska (2034 and 2035) in upcoming seasons.
Season tickets are sold out to Oklahoma State football games this year, but there are still opportunities to get tickets to see the Cowboys in Stillwater. The November 28 game against Kansas is the only home game left on this year’s schedule that is not yet sold out.
Tickets are available at www.okstate.com/tickets or by contacting the ticket office at 877-255-4678. Fans can still secure their tickets to sold out games through SeatGeek, the official secondary partner of OSU Athletics.
