(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / August 17, 2018) – Oklahoma State fans now have the ability to contact the OSU ticket office directly via text message as a result of a new partnership between OSU and Seattle-based business-texting provider Zipwhip.
This new partnership enables fans to inquire about ticket sales and renewals and provide feedback directly to OSU’s ticket office with conversational text messages. Additionally, this technology will be used in all of OSU’s athletic facilities as part of in-game fan interactions, contests and updates on weather/game-time changes.
“This partnership between OSU and Zipwhip is the latest in our customer service improvements for the coming academic year,” said Oklahoma State Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Marketing Erika Vickers. “Our goal is to create an outstanding experience for our fans, and partnering with Zipwhip allows us to improve our customer service efforts by making our ticket office more easily accessible.”
OSU joins a growing roster of Zipwhip clients that includes several teams from the NFL, NBA, NHL, Major League Soccer and others.
OSU has already launched the service and fans can try it out by texting their inquiries to the ticket office at 877-ALL-4-OSU during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) Fans who text “gopokes” to 877-ALL-4-OSU will receive a limited time offer.
In addition to contacting the ticket office via text message, fans also have the option to purchase tickets now by visiting okstate.com/tickets or by calling 877-ALL-4-OSU.
