STILLWATER, Okla. – Focus and attention can be scarce resources in the workplace, but they are attainable for those willing to work for them.

On September 13, as part of the Lunchtime Learning series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Krista Scammahorn will offer ways to focus on one thing at a time during her session, "Mindful Leadership: Master Your Focus and Attention Control.”

In this reflective session, Scammahorn will explore science-based strategies to sustain and strengthen your concentration, which have the potential to impact every single aspect of your life positively. She will also guide attendees on how they can better direct their brains and minds in high-stakes situations.

Scammahorn is an author, trainer, speaker and business training consultant. She has over 20 years in corporate sales, marketing and the development of cross-functional teams. Scammahorn is certified to train 5 Voices, Crucial Conversations and Getting Things Done.

She has a passion for developing relevant training. In addition to operating her own LLC, she holds the position of president-elect with the Oklahoma CareerTech Business division. Scammahorn is also the Workforce Readiness Director for the Oklahoma State Council for Human Resource Management.
