STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Football is back in Boone Pickens Stadium this week when the Cowboys host No. 2 Oregon. The game is sold out. Some gameday reminders and upgrades for fans to be aware of before arriving:
Parking
- POSSE parking lots open at 8 a.m.
- A parking map can be found HERE.
- There is a limited amount of prepaid single-game parking available for purchase. While that allotment has already sold out for the Oregon game, fans can visit https://okstate.evenue.net/events/FB-PARK for future contests.
Tailgating
- Tailgaters can begin claiming their spots at noon on Fridays before home games.
- Campus tailgating opens at 8 a.m. for all games (unless posted) and closes at 10 p.m. or one hour after the game ends.
- Tailgating is a cherished tradition and an important part of the game day experience at Oklahoma State University. We are committed to promoting a safe environment and the best possible game day experience for everyone who visits Boone Pickens Stadium, OSU and Stillwater.
- To ensure a safe and family-friendly atmosphere tailgating is limited to designated areas on campus. Please view Oklahoma State University’s tailgating map.
Pregame activities
- The BPS Block Party brought to you by Hard Rock has relocated to Athletic Ave on the south side of the stadium. The party opens three hours before kickoff and features family friendly fun with photo opportunities with Pistol Pete, Bullet and BB, inflatables, games, sponsor activations and much more.
- Take your game day to the next level with one of our VIP experiences including Friday Night Light Tour, Tunnel Club, Halftime with Bullet, Gate Pull, and Group Picture with Pistol Pete. VIP experiences can be reserved through 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday before each home game. Book for the Oregon game HERE.
- Approximately two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff, the Cowboys participate in The Walk down Hester Street from The Atherton Hotel to Boone Pickens Stadium. The spirited parade includes the Cowboy Marching Band, the spirit squad and, of course, the players. Fans already at the stadium gather on the side of the road and cheer their Cowboys on to victory. This tradition began in 2001 and quickly became a favorite of Cowboy fans, creating an exciting way for the team to enter the stadium.
- The pregame show featuring the Cowboy Marching Band begins 20 minutes prior to kickoff.
Stadium entry
- To provide a safer environment and significantly expedite fan entry, OSU Athletics’ clear bag policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought to Oklahoma State University sporting events. Fans are limited to one bag per person with a small clutch bag for privacy.
- A more detailed look at OSU’s clear bag policy.
- Boone Pickens Stadium is a cashless venue.
- Ticket windows open three hours prior to kickoff.
- Premium gates open two hours prior to kickoff.
- Public gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
