Modella Gallery is pleased to present Ingrid Hendrix Archetypal, an exhibition of work by ceramicist, Ingrid Hendrix.
Hendrix created ceramic sculptures described as edgy, unusual with figurative, religious and animal imagery. She stated she explored the depths of human consciousness and its unconscious roots by trying to reveal what lies underneath the surface of every human being. The archetypes of the images Hendrix produced provided recurring themes and images of myth.
With Hendrix untimely death, many questions were held unanswered regarding her direction and future vision.
