February’s Monday at Modella features Stillwater native Monica Taylor, Travis Fite from Tulsa and John Keck from Kansas on Mon., February 17, 7:30 pm. Monica Taylor started her career by performing with the Cherokee Maidens. She organizes Cimarron Breeze Concert Series in Perkins. In addition to Taylor, Travis Fite, Tulsa musician, will be performing. Fite, writes music for film and musical scores. His roots are from the New Orleans bay area, with soul and funk styles of music. The 3rd and final act of the evening will be John Keck from Kansas, playing Americana red dirt mix. Keck plays and writes his music from personal experience. He writes about everything, from love to heartbreak. A donation of $10 is suggested to help pay musicians.
Modella Gallery is a non-profit art gallery dedicated to bringing contemporary arts to Stillwater, Oklahoma. The gallery continues to be a program designed to share the works from national and local artists, visual art, musical performances, and hosts special events and projects.
