STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team is set to preview its fall season in a joint practice with the Chinese National Team on Thursday.

The practice begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission is free and all seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This marks the second year in a row that OSU hosts a WBSC international team, as the Cowgirls faced off against the USA Softball U-18 team in Stillwater last September.

China currently holds the No. 8 spot in the WBSC’s softball rankings. Head coach Yang Liu’s squad is coming off a strong performance at last month’s International Cup in Oklahoma City, where they placed fifth with notable wins over Australia, Chinese Taipei and American Samoa.
