STILLWATER, OKLA- The Oklahoma State women’s tennis team is set to open the spring season Saturday at noon and 5 p.m. against Missouri at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

The Cowgirls are 30-5 all-time against Missouri. OSU enters the season having won at least 20 matches in each of the last five seasons. Head coach Chris Young returns several faces to the team this year, including Dariya Detkovskaya, Bunywai Thamchaiwat, Ayumi MiyamotoAlana WolfbergRyan Thompson, Lenka Stara and Lora Boggs. 

The Cowgirls add Draginja Vukovic, who comes in with a Women’s Tennis Association singles ranking of No. 651, an International Tennis Federation junior career-high ranking of No. 49, and a Universal Tennis Rating high of 11.76. She also has won four 15K pro titles, three of those in singles and one in doubles. Vukovic will replace former Cowgirl All-American Lisa Marie Rioux, who graduated in the fall and turned professional.
