STILLWATER – Oklahoma State found itself at No. 6 in Tuesday’s NCEA rankings, the first to be released since the conclusion of the fall season.

The Cowgirls won three of their six meets in the fall and went 2-1 in Big 12 action, putting them in a three-way tie atop the conference standings with TCU and Baylor.

OSU’s next three opponents each made appearances in this week’s rankings. Georgia is ranked seventh, while Baylor finds itself eighth and TCU second, respectively.

The Cowgirls return to action when they host Georgia on February 11. The Bulldogs went 4-3 in the fall with notable wins over Baylor and Texas A&M. OSU will look to avoid losing its third-straight meet against Georgia, having lost the previous two meetings in 2021 and 2018.

The remainder of the Cowgirls schedule beyond Georgia begins with back-to-back conference meets, first at Baylor on February 18 before TCU comes to Stillwater on February 25. After that, they’ll head to California to face UC Davis on March 4 and Big 12 foe Fresno State the day after, before rounding out their regular-season schedule with a home meet against the University of Lynchburg on March 11.
