STILLWATER -Oklahoma State’s Equestrian team will open its 2026-27 campaign with the Black vs. Orange Scrimmage Friday at noon at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center.
The intrasquad scrimmage will feature Cowgirl riders competing across all four NCEA events: fences, flat, horsemanship and reining as OSU gets its first competition experience of the season.
OSU enters the season following an 8-4 campaign in 2025-26, highlighted by its sixth-consecutive Big 12 championship and fourth-place finish at the NCEA National Championship. The Cowgirls finished 4-2 in Big 12 competition and put together a six-meet winning streak spanning the fall and spring portions of the schedule.
Oklahoma State returns three All-Americans from last season in Ava Bush, Emma Filatreau and Bella D’Onofrio. Bush and Filatreau earned first-team All-America honors in reining, while D’Onofrio earned second-team honors in horsemanship. Filatreau was also named Big 12 Reining Rider of the Year.
Friday’s scrimmage will be open to the public and will give the Cowgirls their first opportunity to compete at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center this season before opening regular-season competition at Fresno State on Oct. 17.
