(STILLWATER, Oklahoma / August 2, 2018) – The Oklahoma State football team is ranked No. 25 in the preseason edition of the Amway Coaches Poll released Thursday, marking the third consecutive season the Cowboys have been included in the preseason rankings.

The poll also marks the seventh time in the past 10 years OSU has been ranked heading into the season.

Program milestones over that stretch include winning 10 games each of the past three years to establish the longest such streak in school history, as well as becoming one of just five teams to appear in every set of College Football Playoff rankings since 2015.

Fresh off a 10-3 season that was capped with a Camping World Bowl win, OSU returns last year’s Big 12 leading rusher in Justice Hill, as well as six other starters on offense and nine starters on defense.

As one of five Big 12 teams in the inaugural 2017 rankings, OSU joins No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 16 TCU, No. 20 West Virginia and No. 21 Texas.

The Cowboys open the 2018 season Thursday, Aug. 30, when they host Missouri State at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater with kickoff set for 7 p.m. on FS1.

Season tickets and single game tickets are available at www.okstate.com/tickets or by calling the OSU ticket office at 877-ALL-4-OSU.
