• The Basics
Career victory No. 60 - and ranked win No. 10 - came in dramatic fashion for Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton, who led his Cowboys to an edge-of-your-seat 75-70 win over 6/7 Kansas on Tuesday. OSU is now tied for the national lead with four N.E.T. Quadrant-1 victories, and will host rival Oklahoma in the year's first Phillips 66 Bedlam showdown. The Sooners are coming off an impressive 82-46 win over TCU in Norman. Saturday's game can be seen on ESPN2, and fans can listen to the game with Dave Hunziker and John Holcomb on the Cowboy Radio Network.

• The Resume Is Growing
The Cowboys are building one of the nation's most impressive NCAA Tournament resumes. Oklahoma State is 4-2 in N.E.T. Quadrant-1 games. The four victories are tied for the national lead and the six total games against Q1 squads are tied for the third most. They also own a 2-2 record against the AP Top-25. What's more, OSU has been impressive on the road with victories at K-State, No. 13 Texas Tech, Wichita State, Marquette and UT Arlington. The Cowboys own a 5-1 record away from Stillwater, which is tied for the second most road wins in the country. OSU's lone road loss this year came at 4/4 Texas by just three points.

• Ball-Pressure -> Transition Offense
The Cowboys are at their best when their pressure defense leads to a speedy transition game. OSU forces 7.2 steals and 14.4 turnovers per game, which ranks fourth and third in the Big 12, respectively, and KenPom lists the Cowboys 27th nationally in defensive efficiency. OSU is holding opponents to 40.2 percent from the floor, third in the Big 12, and only two of OSU's opponents this season have finished the game with a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. Then, the Cowboys get out and run in transition. OSU is the Big 12's top tempo squad according to KenPom (71.5 possessions per 40), and they average 17.0 fast-break points per game (8.6 more than their opponents). In fact, they scored 37 fast-break points in the win over No. 6 Kansas, which are the most of the Mike Boynton era. Thanks to these drives to the rim OSU is also averaging a +10.7 margin in points in the paint this year.

• The All-Sport Phillips 66 Bedlam Series
Oklahoma State and Oklahoma compete yearly in the Phillips 66 Bedlam Series, an all-sports competition between the two schools, which are separated by only 80 miles along Interstate 35. Oklahoma State has won the overall Bedlam series in six of the last seven years, including last year's 8-5-1 victory. OSU is ahead, 5-2, in 2020-21. The series champion is decided by wins and losses in head to head competition or Big 12 Championship final standings in all other sports.

• Phillips 66 Bedlam Basketball
Welcome to the 241st hardwood meeting between Oklahoma State and Oklahoma in a rivalry that dates back to 1908. With rare exception these two programs have played at least twice a year since 1916, and the 240 all-time meetings are the most against any opponent for OSU (178 games against Kansas ranks second). OU leads the overall series, 140-100. The Cowboys swept the series in 2017 and took two of the three matchups in 2018. In Stillwater, Oklahoma State leads the series 64-46 and has taken three of the last four.
