STILLWATER – Due to inclement weather, Friday’s series opener between Oklahoma State and Kansas at O’Brate Stadium was suspended in the bottom of the third inning. The game will be resumed Saturday at 2:05 p.m.

The Cowboys lead the contest 6-2 on the strength of four home runs as Brock Thompson has homered twice while Garrett Shull and Alex Conover have also gone deep.

Ethan Lund racked up seven strikeouts and did not issue a walk in his three innings of work on the mound.

The two teams will play game two of the series 45 minutes after the conclusion of the opener, while Sunday’s finale is scheduled for 1 p.m.
