Along with the trio of shows on Saturday, Becwar will also be a last-minute addition to the Downtown Stillwater Car & Bike Show on Friday, September 19th. Becwar will be entertaining visitors to the event with his own special brand of strolling magic from 6-9pm.

Growing up in a family of magicians, Becwar’s first introduction to entertainment came as a child in 1967, performing with his Dad’s traveling magic show. In 1987, Becwar began presenting his clean, interactive, fast-paced magic and comedy act as a full-time solo professional. Audiences from New York to LA, and Hong Kong, China to Cancun, Mexico, will attest that his act is truly unique and entertaining.

Becwar has performed at thousands of conventions and banquets and has shared the stage with comedian Carrot Top, country CMA award winning band Sawyer Brown, comedian Bill Engvall, the musical group Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, and also in a series of shows with the late legendary comedienne Phyllis Diller. Becwar has also been seen on television performances for HBO and Showtime.

Becwar’s quick wit, sharp memory, and likable ad-libbing style, full of audience participation, makes each of his performances exciting and special. His college degree in Broadcasting, Speech, and Advertising, contributes to his professionalism, as well as a warm and engaging rapport with his audience.     From comedy clubs, colleges, and conventions, to fairs, parties, and trade shows, Becwar’s fun presentation of magic, mind reading, and humor involves all types of people. Associated Press said: “More than just a magician, Gayle Becwar is a complete entertainer.”

“We did a family show the first time Gayle came to our club and it went over very well with kids and adults,” says Rob Neville, Funnies co-founder and host. “We’ve been hearing for two years how we should do another family show and we had the opportunity this month. We had a great crowd last time and we expect to sell out this family show so get your tickets early.”

Becwar’s shows are full of crowd participation and he will pull various members of the audience onstage to help him with several tricks.

“He will grab people out of the audience, play a magic trick on them while also making them dress up in strange outfits and wigs,” Neville adds. “It’s a whole lot of fun for everyone and the kid’s show is pretty good too.”
