Stillwater, Oklahoma — The 34th Annual Calf Fry Music Festival, an all-ages event, will take place April 30–May 2 at Tumbleweed Arena in Stillwater, Oklahoma. This year’s festival will be headlined by Josh Meloy, Flatland Cavalry and Charles Wesley Godwin.
West Virginia singer/songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin will headline the famed Calf Fry stage. Performing to packed houses nationwide and with three studio albums to his name, Godwin is an artist on the rise, continuing to earn praise from fans, critics, and fellow musicians alike.
Following his 2023 critically acclaimed album Family Ties, a deeply personal, seventeen-song diary like release that was universally praised and propelled the West Virginian to new heights Godwin returned in 2025 with two new projects: The Lonely Mountain Town EP and Live From The Steel City.
The Lonely Mountain Town EP is a quieter, more contemplative effort than Family Ties, featuring some of the most compelling songs of his career. Written primarily on the road, the project serves as a collection of on the move snapshots and reflective moments set to music.
In contrast, Live From The Steel City is a raucous live record that captures the full energy of Godwin’s performances. Last year alone, he celebrated a sold out headline debut at Red Rocks and joined Eric Church on his Free The Machine Tour for a string of arena dates.
This week marks the final opportunity for early-bird pricing on three-day general admission and VIP tickets. A limited number of RV spots and VIP cabanas remain available.
