(STILLWATER, Okla. May 31, 2016) ­– Auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of “Peter and Wendy” are Monday, June 20 at the City of Stillwater Community Center from 10 a.m. to noon. Those auditioning should arrive at 10 a.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
 
Among the roles to be cast are Peter, his Shadow, Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys; Wendy and her brothers John and Michael; their parents Mr. and Mrs. Darling with their faithful friends Nana and Liza; Captain Hook and his Pirate Crew along with the Crocodile; Tiger Lily, the band of Neverlanders and Neverland Creatures; and, carrying them to Neverland, a group of stormy clouds.
 
Students entering first grade through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
 
The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT tour actors and directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
 
The performances of “Peter and Wendy” will be presented Saturday, June 25 at the City of Stillwater Community Center Houston Theater, 315 W. 8th Ave. The Missoula Children's Theatre residency in Stillwater is brought to you by the City of Stillwater and select programming is made possible in part by a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council.
