The event will feature participant practice runs on Friday evening, two rounds of wakeboard, and wake surf competition on Saturday and one round of competition on Sunday. Riders from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Texas will be participating in the competition. The Red Dirt Wake Open is the first tour stop among six for the OK INT League this summer. The competition is separated into ability and age-based divisions. The OK INT League offers beginner through pro level divisions. Each rider will compete against competitors with similar ability and experience levels. Other entertainment during the event will include exhibitions from the Oklahoma State University Wakeboard team, currently ranked third in the nation, rubber duck races and mobile cuisine from local food truck vendor, PurdyQ Meats and Treats.
Competitors of all ages and skill level are welcome to participate. Event competitors need to bring their wakeboard or surfboard and life jacket.
