Modella Gallery is pleased to present Revolutions exhibit March 12 to April 18 in conjunction with the MidSouth 100 ride. The opening reception will be on Thursday, March 12 from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.

The theme for this exhibit centers on the word revolution and the definition relating to the bicycle; the revolution of the bicycle wheel as rider pushes on through the journey. This gave the artists the opportunity to create artwork that connected themselves and the viewer to the bicycle. For many, the bicycle can evoke a sense of freedom, a mindful experience, something solitary, a sense of accomplishment, reflection on childhood and a mode of transportation.

Artists that will be exhibiting are Ryan Addis, Sally Bousquet, Todd Frye, Brittany Hadley, Calli Heflin, Matt Jeffery, Jena Kodesh, Kris Luber, Mary Lytle, Brian Mitchell, Shelley Mitchell, Ronnie Pinkston, Pamela Richmond, Mo Wassell, Ron Walker and Clark Woodfin.

Other events during the exhibition include a poetry reading March 19, Monday at Modella on March23, Final Friday March 27 and artist talk, March 29.
