Lake McMurtry is a mountain bicyclist and trail-runner’s paradise. The 1,155-acre lake is surrounded by four mountain bike trails totaling 27 miles. Each single-track trail is approximately seven miles and the Lake McMurtry trail system offers a wide scope of terrain from short climbs to challenging switchbacks through forested areas and prairie lands.

Lake McMurty is the perfect place to rent single kayaks, double kayaks, and stand up paddle boards, which are available on the East and West Recreation Areas. It has 27 miles of shoreline and has been stocked by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation with bluegill, bass, catfish, walleye and saugeye.

Enjoy camping, swimming, fishing, boating, mountain bike/hiking trails and bird watching. Group facilities, picnic areas, outdoor grills, fishing dock and boat ramp/dock on site. Daily and annual permits available. RV camping (16 water/electric hookups), tent campsites, and limited waterfowl hunting.
