Join us again this year by participating in a growing Stillwater tradition—lighting up the community as part of the #OrangeGlow campaign throughout the Oklahoma State University Cowboys football season!

Visit Stillwater has once again teamed up with OSU Athletics to encourage residents, businesses, and fans to switch their porch and outside lights to orange bulbs all season long. Last year’s response was overwhelming, and we can’t wait to see the glow shine even brighter across the city in 2025.

The tradition began with the orange glow from Boone Pickens Stadium on the nights before home games, but now the celebration extends through the entire season—home and away. This year, we’re also encouraging OSU alumni and fans to help spread the spirit with #OrangeInvasion in the destinations where the Cowboys play on the road. Wrap trees, light up windows, decorate bushes, and cover string lights with orange Eskimo Joe’s cups for a unique Stillwater touch.

OSU Athletics and Visit Stillwater will share reminders on social media, TV, and radio to keep the momentum glowing. Share your photos using #OrangeGlow and #OrangeInvasion, or email them to Cristy@VisitStillwater.org, and you may be featured on our website or social channels.

Let’s make sure visitors—especially our new Big 12 Conference rivals—know they’ve entered America’s Friendliest College Town and The Original Home of Red Dirt Music. Keep shining your orange all weekend long so fans see the glow both entering and leaving our community. Together, we’ll create a vibrant sea of orange visible for miles around—an unmistakable symbol of pride for America’s Brightest Orange.
