Virtual Songwriting Workshop for Teens

Overview

Teens in grades 6-12 will join Morgan Taylor in a "from scratch" song-building experience. From silence to sing-along in under an hour! Brainstorming the initial concept, building lyrics, rhyme structure, verse-chorus framework, and fine-tuning are a few of the aspects explored in this often surprising process of collaborative creation. Registration is required to attend the live Zoom event and to pick up an art supply packet. Space is limited. Register at https://tinyurl.com/SPLTeenSongs. Can’t attend the live workshop? Catch the replay available for a limited time on the Library’s YouTube Channel at https://tinyurl.com/YouTubeSPL. At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a secret code to enter into BookPoints to get entered into a raffle drawing!
