Join the Stillwater Public Library for the “NEA Tails and Tales” Virtual Summer Reading Program “Bounce’n Beethoven,” a parent and child music & movement class for ages 0-5 years. Participants will sing, dance, and play homemade instruments to Grammy Award artists. A new virtual class will be released every Saturday in June at 10 a.m. via the Library’s YouTube channel at https://tinyurl.com/YouTubeSPL. The series will remain viewable for the entire summer. This 45-minute program is action-packed to keep little ones engaged. Play on instruments such as egg shakers, bells, drums, and rhythm sticks. Participants will dance with scarves and share lullabies with a special stuffed animal or doll. Before starting the class, participants should gather together instruments or homemade sound-making options and have enough items for each participant to have their own. Stop by the Help Desk in the library to pick up a supply kit for an egg shaker and dance scarf while supplies last. At the end of the show, attendees will receive a secret code to enter into BookPoints to get entered into a raffle drawing!
