A partnership between Stillwater Emergency Management and the National Weather Service in Norman is bringing storm spotter training to Stillwater on Feb 5th. The training is available at no cost to residents of Payne, Logan and Lincoln Counties, according to SEMA. It will take place 6:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Stillwater Community Center. The session is typically an hour and a half to two hours. Skywarn storm spotters assist meteorologists as volunteer severe weather spotters.
