The Friends of the Stillwater Public Library invite the community to their Spring Book Sale, taking place April 16–19 in the Stillwater Public Library’s Meeting Room Building. The sale features thousands of books and media items at affordable prices, with all proceeds benefiting the Stillwater Public Library.

Preview Night will be held Thursday, April 16, from 5–8 p.m. Entry is $10 at the door, except for lifetime members of the Stillwater Friends of the Library. Buyers at the preview sale are limited to 100 items total, including up to 50 children’s books.

The sale is open to the general public on Friday, April 17, from 12–8 p.m., and Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. No membership is required to attend during these hours.

The popular $1 Bag Sale will take place Sunday, April 19, from 1:30–4 p.m. Shoppers will be provided bags to fill with books for just $1 each, with no limit on the number of bags purchased.

Pricing includes $1 for hardback books, 50 cents for paperbacks, DVDs, VHS tapes, vinyl records, and music CDs, and 25 cents for children’s books. No sales tax is charged. The Friends of the Library accept cash or checks only, payable to FOL.

All attendees are expected to be respectful of others during the sale. Pushing, shoving, or taking items from others will not be tolerated, and anyone not following these guidelines may be asked to leave. For more information, visit stillwaterok.gov/LibraryBookSales.
