Each week participants will explore a different artist in depth, creating works inspired by their medium, subject matter, philosophy, and life. Each 4 day camp will include a combination of two dimensional and three dimensional projects, and will be divided into a 6-10 year old age group and an 11-14 year old group. As always, kids will learn a lot, play, explore, and expand their understanding of art and the world around us! All supplies included. Students will need to bring a sack lunch, as well as a light snack for morning break. Students need to wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get messy. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle with the student’s name on it. 

For the last week of art camp, participants will take inspiration from beloved Lebanese artist, writer, and bookmaker, Etel Adnan. Adnan's work is abstract, holy, playful. She painted, wrote poetry, and made art books she called "her little leporellos" in which she combined her words with color and line and texture. Like Adnan, participants will spend the week unabashedly pursuing beauty in all things!
