Overview

Playing in the Dough is a personalized, hands-on workshop targeted for the very beginning baker who would like to learn how to make a traditional bread loaf and two shaped breads. Renee Nelson, FAPC milling and baking specialist, will give tips and tricks to participants as they make these delicious bread products made with whole wheat and refined white flour.


Part of the event will take place in our Milling and Baking Laboratory. For your safety, pants and comfortable closed-toe shoes are required. No shorts, skirts or flip-flops permitted. Those not in proper outerwear will not be able to participate in the day’s events. Prior to arriving to the event, please view our safety and security video.
